I’ve been doing regular exercise for about 3 months now. I know I need to step it up a notch to see a difference in my body but what I really need to do is stop pigging out!!! I just can’t stop eating crap!!

I need some motivation - anybody care to share pics of themselves to show how great they look after following a fitness and healthy eating regime?

I got myself a PT and it was honestly the best thing i ever did.

About 2 years between these photos, change was gradual and fit in with my lifestyle, (still had the odd takeaway...) But followed a weights bases training plan in the gym, going about 3/4 times a week!

Keep at it, youll get there!!

Make sure you are taking lots of pictures, gradual changes can be hard to notice but if you look back on a picture from a month ago say, you'll be able to see the changes more in contrast!

Oh, wow, you look fab! I agree re the weights - I’ve tried lots of different exercises over the years and weights definitely have the most impact.

Did you follow a particular diet or were you just sensible?

Great idea about taking regular pictures too.

Mostly just sensible, beung aware of macros , monitoring carb intake and trying to eat more protein. Never as strict as my PT was wanting me to be though 😂

Photos can be depressing if you currently arent happy with them, but just think of them as 'before' pictures and have it as motivation for putting a fabulous 'after' pic next to it!

Good plan. I’d definitely like to be more toned by the summer. I’ve realised I haven’t bought new clothes in months and it’s because things don’t look the same on me anymore. I’m not really overweight - just got a bit of a muffin-top - something I always swore I’d never have!

I don't have a picture but have lost three and a half stone and dropped three dress sizes by eating less and running more. Tummy is now flattish, not much bum but also not much on top! However I feel great, have run 2 half marathons and wish I'd done it years ago!

2 and a half stone lost doing slimming world, got me to the middle picture then gym and lots of exercise to the last picture! I have put a bit back on but working hard to get it off again.
