Losing belly fat

This weekend I have managed to fit into a skirt I haven’t fit into in a year - I’m so happy about that! I don’t weigh myself, but I am back to being a comfortable size 10! However, I am 27 and have NEVER had a flat stomach. So what should I do to get rid? I do cardio, such as spinning/bikes and I’m also doing couch to 5k. It’s made a difference to my overall size but I don’t know what to do to try and get a flatter stomach! Any tips?

You can't really. No amount of exercise will magic a flat belly, you have to lose fat for anything you've built underneath to show up. If you're healthy and thin then it's just something you'll have to deal with unless you want to lose more weight?

To be honest, I could definitely do with losing a bit more weight as I am only 5ft 1 and have a very small frame. I am just very apple shaped!

I'm healthy and thin (5ft 4" 7st 12lbs) stick thin legs and arms but still don't have a waist or flat tummy!

If I had to estimate my weight I would say I’m probably around the 8.5 stone mark. I have a pretty small waist, but I can never show it off cause anything that fits my waist doesn’t fit around my lower stomach! It’s so frustrating! I feel the best I’ve felt in years but it still isn’t enough

I think heavy weights is supposed to help.

Pilates could be good or yoga to strengthen the muscles of your core. It’s also a great complement to cardio classes and offers flexibility and balance

Sorry pressed post too soon... I found all the planks and side planks in yoga and Pilates really good for tightening up my tummy. I’ve just had a baby and plan to hit them both hard after the 6week point as my tummy is super soft.

For me cutting down on carbs and using a rowing machine helps a lot.
