Why are my boobs always the first to shrink?

Every time I get exercising and start to lose weight it always comes off my boobs first. Why does this happen?! I'm a healthy weight (56kg and 160cm), but hold some pudge on my tummy and thighs. Boobs are small to begin with so I can't afford to lose any more there! Is this just how it is? I'm doing orange theory interval training 3-4 times a week, but if there are any tips to try and focus the fat burning on tummy and bums please can you share!

It's just how it is. If you lose ten per cent of your belly fat it's much less noticeable than losing ten per cent of fat on your comparatively small boobs

Targeted exercise will help build muscle. You can't control where you lose fat from.

Thanks twolads, this is what i was afraid of.. I'm moving into the tummy protruding more than boobs zone so probably need to just keep at it. My c section scars have made me all wonky and sort of layered under my belly button so have that to contend with as well..

What do you mean you can't afford to lose any more?
There's nothing wrong with having small boobs.

Brillohair i think i was being a bit ott. They've already turned into saggy little socks since i stopped breast feeding, so it just makes me sad to lose them even further!

Well, I'm having the same, and tbh I can't afford to replace all my bras!
I have a c section overhang, that I really want to reduce. I've lost weight, and getting close to where I want to stop, legs are slim, lost some cup size, still have tummy fat grrrr.
Happy for any suggestions to blitz fat from below breasts down to bikini line please. I can't lose too much more weight for health...

You can't spot reduce fat unfortunately but if you have already lost fat from your legs and thighs you may find that you do lose from your stomach - if that's the only place left that is a bit flabby.

I’ve started at a gym with good PT support. With weight training I have lost less from my boobs than I feared, much better than my usual efforts with cardio. I still have a belly though and have lost some off there but it mainly has come off my hips (which were fine Xmas Hmm). Unfortunately to lose my tummy I think I need to lose too many of my curves elsewhere. I’m a size 8-10 and really don’t want to go any smaller.

My PT has basically told me to accept having a bit of a tummy OR be willing to lose my boobs and hips. I’ll keep the tummy.
