21 day exercise challenge

I'm going to try and exercise 21 days in a row. Anyone want to join me?

And as a disclaimer I know that intense exercise for 28 days in a row isn't a good idea, so aiming for every few days to just make it a mild walk or some yoga or some such. I just need to get moving and make exercise a habit again.

I'm checking in for day one with a bike ride.

I’ve been up in the Lake District so daily hillwalking during half term, and am doing pretty well getting runs and yoga sessions in. Have entered a race in the spring which is giving me a (pleasurable) kick up the arse, and am also beginning to feel the strength in my legs coming back which is massively motivating. Have come to the conclusion that I need to be outdoors walking for a minimum of 5 hours a day to maintain a reasonable mental attitude, which is slightly inconvenient given Real Life.

Ahh yes, I am currently working part time and can't figure out how anyone is supposed to work full time AND stay sane?? I used to do it before DS but it appears I have forgotten how to function without getting outside for at least an hour a day!

How's everyone getting on? I've had an ok week...Barre class on Monday (only half an hour, but good sweaty fun), Power Yoga on Tuesday (really tough, shoulders couldn't keep up!), treadmill walk on Wednesday to close my rings, Circuits on Thursday (OMG on the third circuit we had to do 10 jump squats after each station - 100 jump squats in total 😱. Was broken), lots of stretching Friday and a 4Kish run. Might go for a swim today...

And yes, I feel so much better if I get out in the fresh air for a bit every day. I often go for a walk in my lunchtime, although this week's CONSTANT rain has made that virtually impossible. It really helps wake me up for the afternoon though.
