Soooo
Finally starting an exercise programme tomorrow and would really really appreciate some company so we can keep each other motivated and accountable!
LO is 5 months now and can go a couple of hours between feeds so planning on getting 30 mins in each morning

Good luck! I'm not starting anything new, just keeping on with my usual stuff, so will keep you company. What are you planning to do today? I'm trying a new Les Mills Barre class, followed by some yoga after work tonight.

Aswad · 01/10/2018 17:12

Wow double?! Ah I remember the days when I could complete a 2 hour class.
I'm doing 21 day fix, one of the beach body Workouts. I'm not confident enough for group Workouts yet.
Do you struggle with the nutrition side? I need to start planning and prepping meals
Thank you so much for the company, will need it!

Haha, I would NEVER normally do a double. The barre session was only half an hour ( of SWEAT!), and the studio is really close to my house, so thought I'd have a go. It was a taster session, not normally held.

I find I can't really focus too much on nutrition. Otherwise I'd be cooking one meal for me (and DH), and another (probably 2) for the kids, and that's just not happening (also, we all seem to need to eat at different times because of clubs / sports). As much as I'd love to eat some more meat free days, and experiment with my cooking, it would mean my children not eating anything [sigh], so it's generally food that we will all eat, with some extra veg thrown in for DH and me. Also, I've got a shocking sweet tooth, can't give up the sugar. At least I don't drink much lol!

@carrie74 sheepishly didn't post yesterday as didn't work out, not sure if clearing out junk for hours counts?
Good point about making extra veggies to make meals healthier. Currently having porridge for a very late supper
Did a 30 minute upper body workout today so that's something
How did you get on?

Nice work!

I went for a short stroll at lunchtime but not really done anything yesterday or today. But circuits tomorrow, and PT session on Friday...

MyGastIsFlabbered · 04/10/2018 16:22

I'm doing 30 minutes on the exercise bike started 1st October. God it's boring though and I can't cycle fast enough to get my heart really racing so I'm wondering what the point of it is. I'm only 4 days in!

Aswad · 04/10/2018 22:22

@MyGastIsFlabbered Oh no don't give up yet! (Says the lady who had a KFC box meal with 2 wings and a drumstick washed down with a mango laasi a few hours later!).
Are you able to watch Netflix or something similar?
My backside is always too big for those bloody seats Blush

Just back from circuits, didn't feel like going, but so glad I did. Also a walk before work this morning. How are you getting on Aswad

Aswad · 04/10/2018 22:23

That sounds great, really planned out. I start off with good intentions most days haha. I'm aiming for every other day until I can get used to it again

My Gast, how about increasing the resistance? And I listen to podcasts when on the treadmill, really helps take away the boredom (LOVE My Favorite Murder).

Keep going Aswad, you'll never regret doing it in the end (but equally, your baby is still v young, so don't beat yourself up too much. My babies are now 13 and 11, so I've got much more time available).
