Hello,

Do they have anywhere to leave bags etc at the parkruns? Do people have to carry a bag whilst they run?

Themouseinmypocket, I have done Lincoln park run a few times , make sure you have some money for coffee afterwards as they go to the Bowls club afterwards , I don't really like Lincoln as find the paths a bit narrow and busy . I really like Boston and Belton runs as not too busy at all , only bad bit about Boston is no toilets ! . Newark and Rutland are nice runs as well. Enjoy tomorrow , quite envious as I can't go to many as Dd has a sports club starting at 9am and Dh works every Saturday.

How did it go @Aelinandme?

Aelinandme · 02/06/2018 11:16

I did it! I took my 13 Yr old son with me for company but he was too quick (sub 30).

I couldn't run the whole thing but I ran some bits and power walked the rest. I didn't come last so I am happy.

I feel really happy to have done something this morning instead of sitting on the sofa Smile.

Left my jacket in the car as it was warm. Put the car keys and my inhaler in my bra. Carried my water. But there were buckets for kit at the start and finish.

Yay, well done! Welcome to the best day of your life Grin

And great work by your son, sub 30 is brilliant!

Well done OP. You've taken the first step.
Glad you enjoyed it. Now you can keep on going.
Time for a well done Brew or Wine
