Home workout (YouTube, apps maybe?) - gentle enough for my health issues...

So I’ve become much fitter than I was. Which is brilliant. I have CFS fibromyalgia and POTS and for ages could barely walk more than a few minutes. Oddly, this massively improved in my recent pregnancy, I can now regularly walk down to the shops and back uphill, 15-20min each way with no problem whatsoever - having been completely unable to even attempt it for years!

I’ve been doing the Davina postnatal DVD as I loved it during my first two pregnancies (before the illness). Still doing it. Don’t laugh, but the baby is 6.5 months Blush

The cardio is too easy now but the DVDs I remember trying before would be far, far too much for me ATM. So need something in between. I can’t leave the baby so it needs to be home based (have informed the older DCs that we will be walking more as well).

Any recommendations for something in between would be great, any particular you tube channels or something perhaps.

(Mainly the tummy that needs work! I still look pregnant. My knees are weak now even though I am 4 stone lighter than I was in January 2017. Hmm)

Thank you!

You could look on Fitness Blender, there's tonnes of videos and you can filter for your needs?

Have you tried Yoga with Adrienne before? If your pots can cope witht the positional changes of yoga, it could be a good option as is low impact so should not flare FM pain either? She has a 'Yoga for Weight Loss' series which focusses on the core IIRC.

Great, thank you both

No never tried yoga at all, there is a mum and baby class (as in the mums do the workout and nobody minds crawling/crying little ones) but not sure I’m up for that yet.

Try searching you tube for fitness blender low impact. No jumping or overly complex movements but you can break a sweat without feeling uncomfortable . Like this one

Just found some time while Velcro baby actually slept, and tried some fitness blender! It’s great! I tried half of a couple of different ones. Couldn’t manage the floor work (due to dizziness and extremely weak wrists Confused) but I could work up to that, and the rest is just right for me. Plus there seem to be so many different videos that I would never be bored :o

Next I shall attempt the recommended yoga, I expect the DCs would happily join in with that.

Thanks all Thanks
