Does it track steps if you’re pushing a buggy? I’m convinced mine isn’t as, obviously, I’m not swinging my arms when holding the buggy.
I only got it on Friday so it’s very possible that I’m doing something wrong! x

It does but not as well.

dantdmistedious · 19/02/2018 13:29

No it won't.

gamerchick · 19/02/2018 13:30

It puts me down as riding a bike Grin

LoopyLou1981 · 19/02/2018 13:30

Oh poop! I’ll have to push one handed then!x

At work I wear mine tucked into my socks and it picks steps up nicely. If you're wearing long enough socks (not trainer socks) then you could try that.

dementedpixie · 19/02/2018 13:33

Doesn't track very well pushing a trolley in the supermarket either. Doesn't track stairs well unless you swing your arms at the same time so if you go up carrying something you're snookered

QueenAravisOfArchenland · 19/02/2018 13:34

It usually logs me as being on the elliptical Grin. I have a fast bouncy walk though but it picks up my steps accurately.

SwimmingInTheBlueLagoon · 19/02/2018 14:20

No. Trackers generally can't pick up walking when pushing something.

puddleduckmummy · 19/02/2018 14:41

@gamerchick mine tells me I'm riding a bike too!

lornathewizzard · 19/02/2018 14:42

My flex 2 does

APermanentlyExhaustedPigeon · 19/02/2018 14:45

My chargeHR (original) did. Just got an ionic and so far the step tracking is not great unless I am swinging my arms. Really frustrating as most of the time I'm either pushing a buggy or carrying something!

APermanentlyExhaustedPigeon · 19/02/2018 14:45

Might try the sock trick though! Thanks!

Looneytune253 · 19/02/2018 14:46

Mine doesn’t I just put it round my bra strap and that works quite well

nbee84 · 19/02/2018 21:13

Walk to and from school is just over 4k steps. If I'm pushing the buggy I lose about 1,000 steps! I put mine in my pocket but this means I can't check what my hr was on the uphill walk home.

mummylizadiet · 20/02/2018 01:16

I push the buggy with one hand and swing my arm which I'm wearing my Fitbit to count calories
This can be uncomfortable to do so and maybe even not safe if you are not careful

CottonEyeJosephine · 21/02/2018 14:46

I clip mine to my bra strap and it works pretty well.

SellMySoulForSomeSleep · 21/02/2018 14:57

Mine says I'm riding a bike as Well. I live somewhere with a lot of hills So I don't know if that makes a difference
