Exercise at the gym

Hello All 😁
Im new on here, wanting some advice. Before having baba ( who is now 3) i was a size 12 after that i got up to a size 18 and have now dropped down to a size 14. Iv joined the gym two weeks ago and wanted some tips really. Wanting to go down bk to a size 12, but quickish. Im top heavy, so my arms, boobs and tum is bigger.
Anyone else the same and got down to a size 12? I eat way too much chocolate so am trying to control that. Any advice will be great.

Hi. I'm also new to the gym (I am weak, wobbly and completely clueless). I've crept up from a size 12 to just about squeezing into a 14 and I don't quite know how it happened! Sorry, I can't give advice but it's good to see someone else with a similar target.

My personal trainer recommended a rough daily calorie amount to lose weight (and a daily protein target) but I was struggling to count them so I've just joined My Fitness Pal to do the counting for me! It looks like a fun way to set some targets. I'm not sure how accurate the figures are but it made me put back the second packet of crisps I was looking at yesterday!
