I'm visiting London soon and was wondering what the nearest parkrun was to Southbank. Is it Southwark Park?

Doesn’t the park run site have a map?

www.parkrun.org.uk/events/events/

Looks like it’s Southwark or Burgess

Both flat and fast. Go nuts :)

waitingforlifetostart · 22/10/2017 21:42

Which is best out of those 2?

Personal preference really - Southwark is laps in a park, Burgess is a single loop but has a couple of tight turns. My husband set his Parkrun PB at Southwark and wants to come back to Burgess in a few weeks for a PB attempt (he paced me the last time).

Southwark Park is very friendly . I have run there as a tourist

I used to run Southwark & the people are lovely.

Have you been?

If so, which one did you do?

If not, can I throw in further suggestions of Brockwell Park (number 3 bus, or train to Herne Hill) if you want hills; or train out to Bushy if you want to visit where it all began
