Alternatives to weight training that I can do on my own?

I would love to have the money for regular gym visits or personal training sessions but I just don't.

I am trying to gain weight which has been very difficult (low BMI) but I am very slowly getting there. Also want to improve cardio fitness and tone my tummy while not losing any of my hard gained weight.

There is practically no advice out there as it is all aimed at weight loss for women.

Weight training keeps getting recommended but I simply don't have the money for a personal trainer (unless as a one off and I don't know if they do that) or to join a gym. Can I do anything else or something I can do at home without injuring myself?!

I really like TRX or suspension training. Ours cost £20 from amazon and goes on the back of a door. If you google there are loads of workouts online.

That sounds intriguing thank you! I'll have a look.
