So in the last 3 months I have lost 10kg through mainly cardio. A lot of x-trainer, rower and treadmill work at the gym.
I can now jog (very slowly!) for 30mins.
I am keen to start swimming and have joined a netball team which trains once a week for 2 hours.
I still have 20kg to lose and do not know what to do now?!

Swimming once a week
Netball once a week
I can either continue with cardio in the gym (but getting bored) 3 times a week

Maybe run outside?
Yoga?
Weights at home/in gym?

I want to enjoy whatever i do and am getting bored of the gym now so dont know what is best to replace it with.

Any advise would be very gratefully received!

Are there any exercise classes at the gym?
I like to run outside whilst the weather is nice.
How about downloading an App to give you some inspiration and to mix things up with a few weights. Dd has just recommended "Duel" as an App for me to try.

Will be more sustainable if you go with what you enjoy.
Can you make any of those choices more exciting, more challenging, more sociable?

Better to do something you're not bored by. So that would rule out gym based cardio.

Personally I train with weights in gym 3-4 times a week - once with a PT who does me a programme for my own workouts; and running outside, mix of speed/distance/hills the other days. I also do yoga - classes and practice - but that's different. And no good for weight loss, though it balances the weights/running nicely.

I recommend weight training, very effective for fat burning and gives a good sense of achievement. And fun!

Running outside is very liberating. I recommend Park run to get you started. But I would mix it up and not be slogging away...
