Is my gym membership worth it?

For a while now I've been thinking about cancelling my gym membership as I don't particularly enjoy it but have kept it on as I feel like if I cancel my exercise will gradually drop to nothing.

My usual gym class has been permanently cancelled now I'm stuck trying to find one that I would like in the time frame that I can go. They do a similar one but that is on while I'm working.

I have been on my online profile today and it appears that in the last 12 months I have only visited 27 times for a total of 20hours 40 minutes. This works out at £8.44 per visit.

Our gym costs about £11 per visit, so you may still be quids in.
I suspect most people don't get value out of their membership, though.

I pay £48 a month and I go at least 3 x a week so yes it's worth it .

So you're going less than 3 times a month? I'd cancel tbh.

I've just joined a gym and if I drop to less than 3 times a week then I'll cancel. If I go 3 times a week, it works out at £3.30 a session. 3 times a month would be £13.33 and adhoc sessions are £7.50.

Have you looked to see if there are many gyms near your work/home that have signed up to payasugym?

You can buy a pass that gives you access to any of them, which will increase your options.
