Circuit Training, how sore will I feel afterwards?

3 of us in office are going together, next week.
Ms. Superfit who goes often
Ms. Fit but a Wimp not been in 23 years (me)
Ms. Unfit never been

I plan to hang at the back & have a laugh with Unfit. Superfit plans to laugh at us the next day when we moan how sore we feel. Do Circuits really leave you feeling that bad? How long before you stop feeling sore?

I get about 1.5 hours of exercise a day, usually, about half aerobic, but stuff like running/swimming, never weights.

Depends how much effort you put in really.

That's fair enough. A "not embarrassingly too little" amount, maybe? :)

If you're having a laugh you won't feel the benefit (aka pain) much. Circuits work best if you do your best for each exercise as they're using different muscles.

went today... feel fine so far! It was mostly sprint running & pushups.
My bad shoulder collapsed trying to do a proper pressup, so after that I did wimpy lifts instead. Nothing sore yet!

Does circuit training involve lots & lots of press-ups, usually?

DOMS will get you tomorrow or even the next day!
