Parkrun - timings

I have finally finished the couch to 5K program I have been doing. However, I still can't run the full 5K continuously without dropping to a walk.

I would love to do my local 5k parkrun, but I'm concerned about how long it might take me. How long does it last for? Does anyone know? If it took me 50 minutes, would that be OK?

Ours is cancelled this week due to a stupid gala

I've done it twice and had 41min-ish times, lots of Hogg walking here. I wasn't last, but my friend d was last week and said the tail walker was lovely.

Been a busy day so not much time to reflect, but really pleased!

I ran the first 2km without dropping to a walk and then walk/ran the rest. I find it hard to run continuously, and do rely on "walk breaks" a fair amount!

Revolution and Sweetle can you investigate starting one? They're all run volunteers and everyone was started by someone who saw a need...

I've just started doing our local park run, I've done 2 now :)

Our local one is quite busy with a huge mix of abilities. My dad came with me last week and walked it in less than 50 minutes and wasn't last and then there are people doing it in 16 minutes!
