Currently my longest run a week is 10k but I am looking to start increasing my distance now that the kids are getting a bit easier and I don't feel so guilty leaving them with DH for 2 hours while I go off for an indulgent run in the sunshine!
However I have looked at 1/2 marathon training plans online and none fit into my life. I can fit in the right number of days training but I can't fit them in the right order. Is it a silly idea to do spin the day the long run? I have two forced rest days in the week because there is no time for anything other than work and kids but they just don't follow the long run.
I think may be confusing myself by reading too much contradictory information online! Any advice appreciated.
