Those of you that have done 30 day shred, do you have rest days or do 30 days straight? I've had a google but getting all different answers.

I did it several years ago, with no rest days. But then I bought other JM DVDs and she says to have a rest day at least once a week.
I am doing it again now 5 days a week. I am older now obviously and I find it hard to believe I did it without any rest days.

Yes I do it regularly and I always have rest days. I usually do it every other day as I know I will stick to it if I don't have to do it ever day Grin
I don't see it as a 30 day thing but just as exercise to keep me fit.

Also, every other exercise regime I've followed has rest days. I don't think it's healthy to NOT have a rest day.

Thank you. I will incorporate some rest days and see it as 45 day shred instead of 30.
Did the first one last night, thighs are a bit achy but wasn't as bad as I thought.

If you can get past day 4 you're doing ok. This is what I always tell myself as by then the ache wears off and you start to feel that it is (in part!) manageable. Keep going but remember to rest.

Good luck

Thanks. Not long finished day 2.
Found it harder today and had to stop a couple of times. Bit disappointed in myself but trying to think I've still done more than I normally would.
