I'm a good 2 stone overweight 😫 just started exercising at home (few days ago) following the Joe wicks HIIT exercises & following a slimming world type eating plan.
Anyway - jumped on the scales today and I've gained weight ??!!!

I don't get it. My kickstart to a healthier me he made me gain not loose 😫 any reason why this is happening ?

I wouldn't worry if it's only been a couple of days.

Stick with it.

Weight can fluctuate (hydration levels, time of the month) so you need to track over a longer time for losses to show reliably.

I weigh myself every morning and can 'gain' two or three pounds in a day. It can be water, big meal still being digested, trapped air I guess, who knows what. But overall I'm still always somewhere around the same number (I'm trying to maintain/lose a tiny amount)

So as long as you're seeing an overall slight downwards trend over say, a 7-14 day period, I wouldn't worry about sudden rises. It doesn't mean you've suddenly put on that much fat overnight, it's all sort of different things.
