I am actually shifting myself. I am not a natural runner but have been properly training for 10 weeks or so. My longest run was 10 miles which was fine at the time but I think I became hypoglycaemic as I was unwell for a few hours afterwards.
I am also vitally unwell today with a fever and sore throat.
Shall I still go ahead? I want to as have done a lot of running but am also nervous.
Any tips?

Sorry I am not vitally unwell- that would be really stupid to run. I am virally unwell

How do you feel this morning? I don't think I would run with a fever. I have run with a cold and been ok but a fever is worse. It is tough to miss a race you've worked hard for but it might be the best thing. Sorry!

Hiya, only just seen this. My temp was a bit better this morning so I topped up on paracetamol and ibuprofen and went ahead. So pleased I did now.
Thanks for the answer x
