Exercise/rehabilitation after a very old injury

Hi Smile

Ok, so short version is....

10 years ago I broke my leg badly. I was also pregnant, which I believe compromised the proper healing.

Last autumn I had 3 screws out as they were working their way out and causing an issue. I've never really been completely pain free, but it had got worse. Having the screws out helped massively. It completely stopped one particular area of pain.

Unfortunately I've not had a single day without pain, and I work in a shop so on my feet all day.

I'm seeing the surgeon again in July to see whether I need the metal pin out (possibility it has moved)

I'm wondering though if I had properly rehabilitated after the initial injury with a specific fittening/strengthening programme, I wouldn't be having these problems now.

Is it too late to rehab? I'm struggling to find anything useful online!

Thanks in advance Smile
