I have recently started walking with my friends once a week. We walk just under 6 miles at a reasonable pace.

As i get to 3.5 mile point my middle toes feel like they are being crushed, which makes me hobble not walk!

I am quite hefty ay 16 stone and 5ft 7 - i am trying to lose weight grrr

Could it be the way your toes are positioned? I noticed my middle toes go slightly underneath eachother and when I walked the one next to my big toe gets how you described yours.

BlahBlahBlahEtc · 05/05/2017 20:00

Or your shoes? Are they for walking in particular? (Sorry for 2 replies, I always press enter too early lol)

maybe too much too soon, if this is only exercise in a long while, or only exercise all week.

RJnomore1 · 05/05/2017 23:24

Sounds like shoes.

BikeRunSki · 05/05/2017 23:26

Your shoes are probably too tight.

Anemia gives me foot cramps when exercising

I had this and went for a running shoe fit and they put me a whole size up. Definitely get fitted for new trainers Smile

DiscoMoo · 07/05/2017 00:59

Shoes. Your feet are swelling and pushing against the shoe. Buy a size up and lace your trainers more loosely around the toes and with one lace on the diagonal from top to bottom.

Lexie1970 · 15/05/2017 18:05

Thank you - i will loosen the laces abd look at getting some bigger trainers Grin
