Anyone here do ballet/contemporary dance as an adult?

I've done it forever, but people are still surprised. Does anyone else take a ballet class & how do you get better at it when there are limited opportunities?

I do ballet. And will be taking up contemporary too.

To improve at dance one really needs to practice every day. I find it difficult as I live in a tiny flat and don't really have any clear floorspace to speak of.

If you can get to London there are loads of adult ballet or contemporary classes at Danceworks, The Place, Rambert, English National Ballet School etc. Many are drop-in classes but some can be booked termly.
