Could someone guess roughly how many calories I burned off

I just did 12 hours of 'pottering'. Didn't sit down. Spent the entire time screwing things into walls, potting plants, dragging and moving plants and furniture round the garden. Watering, sweeping - you get the picture.

To say I feel utterly wiped out is an understatement.

I've added 400 calories of 'exercise' to my fitness pal - do you think I'm roughly right?

Probably. It's never as much as you think or feel you deserve. But it won't be a massive amount for normal movement.

Did you not stop to eat?

Isn't gardening listed in my fitness pal? That'd be near enough?

It will depend on your age, weight etc I wouldn't add anything for littering.

Gardening is listed but it was too high, over 2000 calories

I do think I want to add something, I worked my arse off. I spent 3 hours using my full body weight to screw 3 inch screws into very hard London brick above my head - my triceps are really feeling it Grin

I ate 2 slices of last nights pizza, cold as I knew if I went in to sit and eat I'd never get up again.

Good to know that 400 is reasonable, thanks very much
