If you do exercise videos from YouTube...

Can you please recommend me some decent 20-30 minute ones to try? I have tried various ones, is a current favourite of mine, I like it because it has lots of variety in the moves, and I don't get bored by it. I also feel like I work up a good sweat, which is obviously the plan!

I have done a few workouts from the Popsugar and Fitness Blender channels on YouTube, and have enjoyed some - especially Popsugar ones, I am a little bit in love with Anna Renderer, who presents a lot of them! But I find myself trawling through the channels, looking for one that jumps out at me, when perhaps it's best to get some recommendations and see which ones I enjoy.

Please don't suggest 30 Day Shred! i did it once last year, and whilst I saw results, I got so unbelievably bored. I started it again a couple of weeks ago, and quit on day 7 because I couldn't cope with the boredom - instead I've been doing a random 20 min workout each day.

So, in short: What is your "go-to" 20/30 minute workout video on YouTube?!

I have no suggestions unfortunately but bumping and place marking in case anyone else does Smile youtube videos are ideal for nights I'm just not able to make it out of the house.

Fitness Blender is really good. You can filter by time/difficulty/equipment.. You can get them through Youtube or the Fitness Blender website, for free.

I like bodyfit by Amy. She is lovely and smiley and has loads of different work outs targeting different areas and lengths. She explains things well and isn't shouty or annoying ( like Gillian)

Have you tried any of the other JM ones? Her 90 day revolution is more varied than the shred.

EightiethElement · 20/02/2017 08:22

Must do something later!

OkyDoke · 20/02/2017 08:22

Ive enjoyed Blogilates videos. Cassie the instructor is an acquired taste but i quite like her now im used to her!

EightiethElement · 20/02/2017 08:23

I love Jillian Michaels too. Lots of hers is on youtube too luckily

chocoshopoholic · 20/02/2017 08:25

I'm enjoying the body coach ones at the moment.

AnnPerkins · 20/02/2017 13:06

I like this one. It's not cardio, just core strength and stretches. I did it every other day during Juneathon and it made quite a difference to my core muscles.

Collywobbles1984 · 20/02/2017 16:03

Thanks for this ladies. I've just tried dipping back into 30 day shred, but I just find it so boring! I'm happily subscribing away on Youtube thanks to this thread!

Collywobbles1984 · 20/02/2017 16:05

Need to get my saggy post 15 month old baby body back to some sort of normality! Sick of my saggy bits!

Lozzapops · 20/02/2017 16:45

Thanks so much for all these great suggestions! I'm at work at the moment, so will have a proper look later, and will work my way through the suggestions over the coming days and weeks!!

HASFIT videos - try Insanity or Warrior.

They're brilliant and there are various stages depending on your fitness. The ones I've tried have been HIIT workouts so non-stop for 20 or 30 minutes depending on the video.

LisaAlexander · 20/02/2017 19:22

I always found myself trawling through youtube on end and not actually doing the videos. Just need someone to tell me what time to turn on my laptop and for it to be there. Ridiculously enough I read a post on mediamummy just after new years about a new online fitness thingy that you can do with your friends and I haven't looked back. I do most classes alone but 1 with a friend every week. Never getting bored again.

LisaAlexander that looks right up my street, I've just signed up! I'm going to try it out tomorrow morning when DD goes for a nap!

LisaAlexander · 21/02/2017 14:16

Awesome!

I think they are offering 1 on 1 coaching for free atm

Lozzapops · 22/02/2017 09:19

Thanks again everyone for all the suggestions.

This morning I have done the Gymra one, with Rebecca Louise, recommended by EightiethElement. I have done a couple of her videos in the past, and really enjoyed them. I felt I worked really hard on this one! She bloody loves the plank position doesn't she?! Think I will definitely be doing this one again.

LisaAlexander it was interesting to read about the online fitness classes - something I will consider looking into more at some point!

OhHolyFuck I put on that video expecting some kind of drill sergeant doing bootcamp! Brilliant video!

highlandholiday, not tried any of Jillian's other ones, but may give the one you mentioned a go, thanks!

Will update when I try any other recommended workouts, and post if I find any others I think you might enjoy!
