Best trainers for long distance walking

I am doing the Moonwalk in May. Walking a marathon. Can you recommend some good walking trainers - my normal exercise Nike's are not cutting the constant heel toe motion on long distance walks while I train for it. Any recommendations please?

Solomons would be good...get a pair that make you foot strike correctly...I would love to do a moon walk.. It's on my bucket list
