I started running a year ago and got up to 8 miles so signed up for silverstone half. Then in November went for a run and my foot started hurting- have given it rest but the only 2 times I have been out I can only run 1 mile before it hurts.
It is the outside edge that hurts- the muscle. It is generally all right on a normal day when not running.
Does anyone have any advice - I am desperate to complete the half. I think I need to be running again by the 14th Jan
