Gym routine

I've recently joined a gym, plan is to lose weight and tone up everywhere particularly stomach and arms.

I had an induction so know how to use the equipment but I have no idea how long I should be doing on the machines for cardio or how much I should be doing on the weights machines.

Can you share your routine with me please?

Firstly well done for joining the gym!

Start off doing 8 reps of each exercise in weights machine and do them 3 times. You should feel like your muscles are working half way through the 2nd set. Remember it's all about form - so even if you're struggling to complete the rep/set don't drop your form Smile

Cardio wise do as much as you can or as much as you enjoy.

Break your routine up so try doing a day of pure cardio, then the next 2 days do a cardio warm up then a muscle group ie legs/bum or arms/back then repeat.

One good strong work out session is better then 5/6 little sessions.

Good luck!! xx

Won't they write a programme for you?

I didn't think of looking on Pinterest, thanks!

They don't do individual programmes unless you pay for a pt session which I can't afford right now.
