Can I run again tomorrow or will I die?

I am all enthusiastic and don't have any childcare in the week so I don't want to miss my opportunity.

But is it foolish to push through it?

I would say yes, you'll feel better for it. If it's just general soreness, and not an injury. Go for it!

WriteforFun1 · 02/05/2016 14:40

you mean the full run as in running the whole time? And how bad is it? Maybe you do need a rest. Let us know what you did.

RJnomore1 · 02/05/2016 14:40

Which run did you do?

annandale · 02/05/2016 14:42

I would say go for a swim tomorrow and run the day after.

WriteforFun1 · 02/05/2016 14:56

annandale, sounds like the OP has childcare issues to fit around though.

You might find you're even worse tomorrow! Sometimes it's worse the second day when you're just starting.

Yes do go again tomorrow, it will really, really help to loosen you up.

I never used to believe that and always waited until the sore legs had gone a week later before getting out again, but last time I restarted running I just made myself go again when sore, and it made SUCH a difference! Do it!

Fair enough, but I am still dealing with an injury I picked up a year ago from running so have got cautious! I would still say do something else tomorrow, oops I see it's today Blush
