I've got 2 pairs of trainers one each for running & indoor classes. This works OK in the summer but I'm really struggling in these wet muddy conditions and don't want a lack of footwear keeping me indoors.
I ran on Sunday and those trainers got so caked in mud I had to jet wash them & they're still damp so today wore my indoor trainers (not ideal I realise
) and now have a second pair of filthy wet trainers, cold feet and nothing to wear to my class tonight
.
I run on mix of country lanes & bridlepaths (& fields but they're too wet at the moment) and really feel my trainers aren't up to the job and might need to invest in something a bit more robust & waterproof.
Regular off-road runners, can you talk me through your footwear & cleaning/drying procedure please
