I do a lot of running and train regularly with a club. Tonight when doing hill reps I could feel right calf muscle tighten up but carried on. It then felt like an elastic band pinged and I couldn't really walk let alone run. I've iced it and elevated it but am wondering how long to rest it. Is there any chance it will be better for a half marathon at the weekend? I have had issues with calf before but this ping sensation was new. Thanks
