what do you wear under gym/runnih leggings?

Sorry if this is one of those annoying questions.

I wear knickers under mine, and have a massively noticeable line. Glancing around the gym the other day I noticed no one else does. Am I doing it wrong?

I know I'm about to be flamed as a pervert or vain bitch or something. I'm honestly not, just more self concious. Am I making a gym faux pas? I know, I shouldn't care really and on ones looking. Apart from me.

i wear knickers and probably have a line, but noone has kicked me out of the gym for it, or stared. I presume noone cares?

I have some of these which i wore today actually, and i dont think the line was particularly noticeable, and they are really comfy, plus have terry guss, in case you get a bit sweaty down there, or pee yourself doing star jumps or someting?

I wear "big pants" when I'm running. I'd rather be comfortable - I look such a state that I imagine the last thing people are looking at is my VPL Grin.

I wear nothing under my running tights.

I find pants uncomfortable and they cause chafing on long runs.

My tops cover my arse though.

I go commando, unless I'm adventure racing as having to run 7km of a 10km race with my bum hanging out is not an experience I wish to repeat. Pants just end up giving me a wedgie/chafing under exercise clothes.

I bought some special pants from Sweaty Betty because I was finding wearing normal knickers uncomfortable, but didn't want to go commando. They're very good, they don't chafe, get stuck up my bum or show underneath my leggings. They are pricey, but there's likely a cheaper alternative somewhere.

My normal pants, and definitely have a VPL but don't really care. I wasn't impressed however when I caught a backwards glance of my backside while doing a child pose at the end of a PT session and realised the pattern of my pants was VERY visible. It made shopping for running bottoms a whole different matter (bending over in changing rooms in extreme positions to see if they became see through).

carrie I do that too! Except I do it because at a friend's DD's school music and dance show several years ago, one of the performers (older, 16ish) did a dance that ended with her sort of bending over onto the floor, bum facing the audience. As she bent down, her leggings became see-through, and the whole audience did a simultaneous thing. Poor girl. I always hope no one ever told her!

OP I also wear massive granny pants, VPL be damned!

I wear my usual knickers which are a g string , I don't like knicker lines in any trousers .

I wear the no vpl knickers from Asda. The gusset is cotton enough not to get too swampy and they're comfortable. Otherwise, I try to always wear cotton knickers as I'm very sensitive to chaffing and, um, damp. But the no vpl pants don't bother me at all.

Bridget Jones style pants for anything physical here. I no longer go to the gym but have a rowing machine and x trainer at home, cycle and ride my horse.

John Lewis up to your armpits cotton knickers work for me!

Pants. I have some Panache shorts that came with my sports bra, so I tend to wear them for running.

Cheapy M&S no VPL shorts otherwise.

I don't wear knickers because it's a waste to wear a pair for an hour's run and then wash them.

I wear leggings without knickers for two runs and then was them.
