Fitbit not syncing - disaster!

Hello,
My Fitbit hasn't synced since early this afternoon. The device (a Zip) is still counting steps, but the app isn't updating.
I cannot describe what a disaster this feels like, my last four weeks with my new Fitbit have been the healthiest I've had in years Sad
So, hoping someone knows a fix! I have closed down the app and reopened, turned Bluetooth on and off, and did a phone restart. It keeps telling me to tap the Fitbit to wake it, but it is tapped and awake.
Any ideas?

Argh, solved it myself! Took battery out from back, waited, replaced - and this time it synced. Was worried that would "delete my day" but it didn't. Phew!

Oh well done for sorting it. Mine (Charge HR) is syncing except for my Active Minutes - so when I do a workout it doesn't log it in the app, argh! Pointless! Also my silent alarms arent working. So was hoping someone could help but you've sorted yours out! Also mine doesn't have a removable battery. Boo!
Shame as they're really motivational aren't they!

Yes I really had a dark moment thinking it was broken! Am currently enjoying a guilt-free biscuit as I have done enough steps Smile
I don't know what yours is up to. I found my solution by googling, and it gave different answers for each type of Fitbit - help.fitbit.com
