Does running give you wrinkles/make your face sag?

Have heard that it does. And I suppose thinking about it - it would be logical to assume that it does. Need to shift some weight and was thinking about running as does burn lots of calories fast, but as an -ahem - mature lady…. I was wondering whether it would be a bad idea from the wrinkle/sagging POV.

I'll be 50 this year, so definitely on the mature side. I run a lot outside (I hate gyms and treadmills) and I suppose that wrinkles are part and parcel of that as the sun and wind aren't kind to your sun. However, the tradeoff of having a very fit body not to mention all the health benefits make running outdoors well worth it. Despite having being lean people are shocked when I tell them how old I am, most think I'm around 43, which is nice!
Good luck if you decide to take up running, it is a good way to burn calories, as long as you don't overeat in compensation. I only started properly a couple of years ago and ran a marathon earlier this year, anything is possible!
