tips for marathon training after giving birth

Hello. I'm four months post partum and have just started training for the London marathon 2015. I've also started a little blog about running and life as a new mum to document my journey. www.marathonmummy.co.uk.

I wonder if anyone has any tips. I'm taking it easy with the running, I get a few joint pains here and there. But generally I feel like its taking me longer to build up on distance, my energy levels are not what they used to be. Any tips/suggestions would be amazing, thanks!

Well done you is all I can say, just getting up, dressed and out the house was an achievement for me 4 mths after having a baby :)

I know Paula Radcliffe has written about running after giving birth and I'm sure others have too - Sonia O'Sullivan and Jo Pavey maybe.

My only suggestion is, as always, go slow and steady and listen to your body. Good luck,
