Suzanne I think I'm wearing something very much like you describe - it's a More Mile thermal top, the zip comes up so high it has a chin guard, it's really snug. They come in lots of bright colours, think it is called Vancouver

Thats a brand I'd not heard of and sensible prices, I shall bookmark the site:o

I do like sweatybetty stuff, but some of it just seems a bit, hmm pretentious, some of the styles seem too 'wacky' and it's just way too expensive.

I'm as vain as the next person and I don't want to look like a plonker when I'm pounding the pavement but I'm more inclined towards the functional than the fashionable.

(or maybe it's just sour grapes because SB stuff is out of my budget)
