What's the best machine to buy for exercising at home?

Need to lose some weight and increase my heart rate on a regular basis... Apparently ambling around the block occasionally isn't going to cut it Grin

Was thinking of getting an exercise bike due to limited space, but now I'm not sure that would be the best thing to get? Also have limited funds, £200 max.

Any ideas gratefully received.

save your money and get 30 day shred on DVD instead.

Walk faster and further?

Possibly a skipping rope for house?

IIRC, a rowing machine was meant to be the best. Maybe look on freecycle/freegle?

I am envying a spin bike, i like spinning and think i would use it but haven't convinced myself yet. Some good offers in argos.

I have that DVD and it's great, but i think it's freely available on YouTube.

Expensive clothes hangers! Try DVDs

The shred is great.Really hard at first but that's why it's effective!
