C25K week 5.......can I postpone this for a week whilst I'm on holiday?

Or do I need to keep running, even though I live in a very flat area and we are currently in extremely hilly north Wales? I also don't know anything about the place we are staying, so don't know where to start planning a run route. If I postpone, should I repeat week 4 when I get home? Any advice gratefully received Smile

Yes you can. I had to postpone weeks 5 and 6 as I got ill, I think I went back to Week 4 when I was better.

Well done on getting to week 5. I did it 5 years ago and am still running and loving it. I have done all sorts of races including 2 half marathons (with a third booked for later this year) and have just joined a running club as I want to get faster - it can get addictive :)

I postponed a week when away and it was okay. I redid one run of the previous week but that was it. However if you're used to the flat doing some v gentle hilly running will make you feel like superwoman when you get back to the flat. Grin

Thank you both - I will postpone and re-run week 4 next week. I am not being entirely slothful this week - am in North Wales, so will be doing a bit of hill walking over the next few days. Hopefully that will mitigate against a week's worth of not running (and drinking Smile)!
