Hi

I havnt excercised for years now 56, I'm wanting to do more!

I did yoga on fri one to one for an hour, and omg sat morn I was aching in parts of my body I'd never thought possible this gave me a mood of feeling low! Thought it's supposed to put you on a high ?
It's sort of put me off, do I need this feeling low at my age!!!

How do you get passed?? Accept the lows of aching?

Am I doing to much at once?
Any advice for a lady my age 56

The high happens very soon after the exercise ( you can also call it smugness). The stiffness comes 1-2 days later, but if you keep at it, will soon diminish. Keep at it, and talk to your instructor if it doesn't improve.

Good on you!

Im fit and run half marathons. I also go to exercise classes and I wake up the next morning stiff and aching! Happens to the fit people too!

Just keep going!
