My name is fled and I'm addicted to spin

Just that really. I've been to three classes already this weekend going to the short lunchtime one tomorrow. Is this normal? Nothing else gives me the buzz that spin does

Ooh me too. I go 3-4 times a week. Would go every day if I had the time/childcare (and if my gym didn't do RPM do often which I get a bit bored of)

Totally addicted.

I went for my second ever class this week! It was so hard but ill go again.
Can I ask a question, do ur bums hurt afterwards? the seat was so uncomfortable! Are there any tips I need to follow?

fledtoscotland · 06/06/2014 20:58

Nellysgirl - yes your bum is sore for the first few weeks but seems to "harden up". Make sure your seat is in the correct position and you are sitting right back on it. I use a gel seat cover too

Never done spin but I would love to be able to go to a class some day.

Can you do it if you're 3 stone overweight? Sounds like my thing but I don't want to look like a fool.

Unrealhousewife - I've lost 1.5st with another 4 to go and I do spin 3 times a week! It's for everyone

Cool, any exercise I can do sat on my arse will be most welcome.

And doesn't risk my life and the shame of having to stop when going uphill.

I love spin. Though the hassle of getting to classes at the right time means that I have moved to doing 'Sufferfest' videos on the WattBikes in the gym instead. Highly recommend them if you have a static bike either in the gym or at home.

Our leisure centre does Indoor Cycling, is that spin?
