Bra malfunction - Shock Absorber Run

Anyone having problems with the shoulder straps coming undone on the Shock Absorber Run?? It's just happened me for the second time in a week. I will admit the bra on the snug side (I forgot the sizing is small when I ordered it, too much faff to send it back) but the slider hook that shortens the length of the strap is popping out on the left had side. Any suggestions for keeping it in place?

Annoying! Safety pin the 2 straps together above the slider?

I would say it's too long, there shouldn't be enough slack for it to move at all.

How old is it? Mine do this when they're generally knackered. (Not sure if I imagined it, but I think they might be supposed to last around 40 washes).

I thought it was tight enough, but maybe I'll shorten that side and see if it helps. I'm weirdly short from shoulder to bust so I'll see how tight I can get it. I only have it about 3 weeks so it shouldn't be past it yet. fascicle do they really have a 40 wash limit?? I wear it 4 times a week and throw it in for a rinse most times I wear it.

I don't have that problem but... can you tell me how to do up the clasp on the back? I just cannot do it.

Over the shoulders, once the bra strap but is done up. It's a complete PITA until you get used to it!

OK I will try that, thank you! (So far I have been asking random women in the changing room - it can't go on.)

I'm sure I read something to this effect when I first bought one a few years ago. I can't find a direct quote regarding the Shock Absorber, but this piece in Runner's World on sports bras (which mentions some Shock Absorber funded research), quotes the founder of 'Less Bounce' as saying that sports bras are good for 30-40 washes (see penultimate para):

That said, mine have lasted longer than that (maybe a year). Possibly because I don't wash them everytime, so as not to destroy them by overwashing. If you're gently rinsing/handwashing yours, you might get more life out of it.

Given that you've only had yours for a few weeks, you could try contacting Shock Absorber with your clip query:
