Has anyone done this? Any tips? I have the option of pavements or park. I'm thinking that the 10 mins it takes to walj him to sleep in the afternoon could be well spent doing a bit of cardio (I am not fit and have about a stone still to lose).

Get a proper jogging pram. Big wheels like 20 inches at the back and then at least 16 inches at the front with a lockable or fixed wheel. (they come up on ebay a fair bit for quite cheap) Smoother surface is is probably easier. Have you looked at couch to 5k? You can down load it from NHS. That is what got me joggging with DS

I have run with both my ds and dd in a single and double mountain buggy terrain, on pavements, over cattle grids, down bridle paths and across fields. It's great for arm toning :). The pushchairs with larger wheels and fixed front tyres are easier, but I have ran 10 miles pushing a double MB, so it's not impossible.(My MB is the old style with fixed front wheels, they are cheapish on eBay now)
