I really would like to do it with her as I feel she doesn't exercise enough. She doesn't have any weight issues but I have. I just want to teach her that exercises is good for you and makes you feel good inside as well as the outside. What do you think ? Any experiences ?

As long as she has good running shoes, then no problem.

My nearly 8 year old ds ran 3km with me this afternoon quite happily, and it was lovely to be out together

My 9 yo dd is nagging me to let her do it with me.

I'm not so sure.I think it'd be fine for her, but I'd miss my head space.I like running as a solitary pursuit.

I like it like that too so

But I found c25k was good for my dd, we did it together too (teens tho)

You could see if there is a cross country club at school too.
That's what mine do at present.

I may allow them to come out with me a couple of times a week in the summer.
Just may.
