(And not wanting to get it wrong because of lack of money)

Best cheap thing, belt maybe, for carrying iPhone and keys

And best cheap headphones for running

Belt thing: I've got a neoprene one which cost about £4 in Sports Direct, they always have loads of them.

Apps I don't know about, apart from MapMyRun, which I use to map my run! And track miles.

Headphones: I had a pair of £20 Sennheiser band round back of head ones for ages. They were good enough but on a longer run the slight "bounce" of the bit round the back of my head became uncomfortable. iPhone earplugs just fell out when running. I recently invested £35 in a set of Yurbuds Inspire Pro and they are great - really snug.
