When to move from recreational gym to club?

Dd1 is 6 and does 1hr gym a week at a leisure centre. They do baga proficiency awards and since January she has got 9,8,7,6,5,4. She loves it. It is only £150 per year. There are 4 groups she has done beginner and improver and is now in intermediate so still has the fourth group to do and plenty to learn.
There are local clubs with waiting lists that train for longer and cost more but presumably she would have the chance to progress more.
I plan to leave her where she is till she has got all badges available and done fourth group and then if she still enjoys it apply to a club, but is that leaving it too late.
Thanks

I would get her on the waiting list now if she's thinking of taking it further. At my DD's gym club they have development squads which start at age 4. The squad 6 year olds are pretty impressive!
They have recreational classes too so no pressure to train hard if they don't want to.

Thank you. The nearest club is run by the same instructor as the rec class she goes to if that makes a difference.
What sort of skills would a 6 yr old have please at your club?
