Have just taken my measurements and was in despair at my stomach. I used to have a flat stomach, but now it looks like a beer belly Sad. Have just been browsing the MuTu system and am very tempted to join. Anyone else done MuTu?

I bought it (the old 12 week programme) however I never did it because there was a heck of a lot of reading/print outs (think this has simplified now but not sure) and post baby 2 and with a toddler as well I needed something more straightforward like an exercise DVD.
However, the groups on Facebook (public and closed) are really useful and supportive.
In The end I started running and watching what I ate and I toned up without it but because it was aimed at women with a diastasis after birth (I had a pretty bad one) I found it encouraging just to see the before and after pics of women who had had success with the program. I still am a member of both groups now.
If you pm me and I can dig it out on my email archive I'll send you the print out (if i still have it) and you can see if you want to sign up.

Hi,
I have the old 12-week programme and the Focus 6-week programme. I bought them after I had DS 3 years ago but I dipped into them rather than following religiously. I've just started doing the core exercises again after having DD 10 weeks ago.
Wendy Powell, who invented the system, is very inspirational and an advert for it, and the FB groups are great. Personally I find it easier to follow a DVD of someone telling me what to do so I'm going to Shred and substitute the abs sections for MuTu core exercises, rather than doing the Intensives workouts, which I find it hard to motivate myself to do. I need Jillian barking at me!!
I've just bought a book called 'Get Your Body Back', written by Wendy Powell. It's a 6-week programme based on MuTu, for only £7.99. I'd suggest getting that to see if you like it before investing in the whole system.

Btw the new 12-week programme is a mix of the old one and Focus, so you don't need both.

Thanks, MsFireman. I really don't think I can cope with the Shred - it all sounds a bit scary - and am happier with the sound of MuTu. I didn't realise Wendy Powell had written a book as well - thank you, that's really useful to know. I'll have a look at it online.

It's published under Health & Fitness mag, I got mine in Smiths. Useful to have the exercises to hand even tho I've got the programme.

Actually I think when you buy the new programme you can get it with a DVD. It's available on Amazon as well.
