Anyone (esp larger ladies) wear legged swimming costumes?

Want to get back to swimming post DC2. Lots of weight to lose.

Am thinking that a legged costume would be a practical solution to the lack of time I have to manage my forest bikini line and also in this heat I do end up with blemishes etc "down there". However, I wonder if these sorts of costumes just create 'muffin legs' Hmm or ride up your leg etc?

Anyone worn them? Any advice?

I mean this sort of thing - www.swimngym.co.uk/womens-swimwear/ladies-black-slazenger-shorts-leg-racing-back-swimsuit/prod_75.html

I've got that costume (much cheaper from Sports Direct), and its v comfortable. As the legs aren't very long or very tight they don't roll up.

Its not the most glamourous item, but I'm confident to sit on the edge of the pool in it, and thats important when messing about with ds

I wear a leg suit when I swim, much prefer it, conventional cossie makes me feel like I'm wearing my undies in public Blush
I feel more dignified in a leg suit:o

Thanks both, good to hear.

Have ordered from Sports Direct, thanks for the tip off CMOT.

I will look forward to keeping covered at the swimming pool shortly!

Both me and my DD have cossies like this one HERE. Much more comfortable.

Apt timing for this thread. My maru pacer swimming leg suit turned up today. The legs feel tight so not going to ride up. I ordered one a year ago and sent it back as the legs were rubbish.

I have always hated swimming costumes and never go swimming. My girls love it though so I need to get over it and take them. It seems that for men the shorts option has been around for years. I don't see many men in tiny swimming trunks. However, are there really many women wearing these leg suits? I'm now worried I'll be the only one and feeling self conscious....My favourite habit when in swim wear! Last year I wore normal swimming costume and board shorts on the beach and that was fine.

i swim about 3 x a week and there are often 1 or 2 other women with leg suits

is a bit unfair though...i mean it's still not quite the equivalent to the shorts option that men have.
Then again why cant women wear shorts over a cossie in the pool? Why should we have to feel like we're inour undies?
