If you swim, can you please recommend some goggles?

Because mine are driving me mad. They're Zoggs but they either squash my eyes or leak. Is there a better brand or is there something special I need to do to make them fit properly.

I got some Speedo ones recently and they seem excellent. Zoggs have always leaked on me.

I will see if I can find you a link...

Biofuse www.amazon.co.uk/Speedo-Womens-Female-Futura-Biofuse/dp/B005YXDK3W/ref=sr_1_4?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1375216496&sr=1-4&keywords=speedo+goggles+biofuse

Highly recommended. I have swum in the sea and pools with them and they haven't leaked or fogged.

Thank you. I think I may have used Speedo before, but my nearest pool only sells Zoggs. I will buy and try. Thanks again.

You're welcome!

Im using these:

I find the mask style much more comfortable as it doesnt dig into your eye sockets, and they've not leaked

GrimmaTheNome · 30/07/2013 22:37

I've never found any I liked since Speedos stopped selling the ones with foam edges - they didn't last forever but were so much more comfortable. I'll have to look at those in the links as they specifically say 'small fit'.

nkf · 30/07/2013 22:37

They look less tight and constricting. Less streamlined?

I dont think my swimming is quite 'cutting edge' enough to be affected by less streamlined goggles Wink

Tuckshop · 30/07/2013 22:47

Put them on, push on the lenses, then pull on the nose bridge. If there is a pop sound you have a good seal and they won't leak.

Similarly check all round the edges looking in the mirror for a good seal.

Aquasphere are a good brand and very comfortable. It's worth trying on different brands if you can as they all suit different shaped heads and faces.

Sleepwhenidie · 31/07/2013 16:18

I have these Aquasphere after trying loads of others and think they are fantastic.

nkf · 31/07/2013 16:37

Hmm.
Another vote for the mask style. I might try them.

Oh and don't forget a tiny drop of baby shampoo rubbed inside goggles from time to time then rinsed will stop fogging Smile

I have those too. They are great for pool and open water. With the mask ones push them into your face without the band over your head and see if they stay on. And check they seal all the way round. Can you tell I used to fit goggles?!
