regular swimmers, what's your local pool like?

Does it make much effort to accommodate those who want to swim lengths?
Mine has lane swimming sessions but they are quite short (60 - 90 minutes) and sometimes just too busy.
I find it a bit frustrating really because getting a good swimming session where I don't have to keep stopping is so hit and miss

It is one of 3 pools in the building - leisure pool, swimming pool and baby pool

sounds like heaven..I need to move!

Ours is really good as is a 50m pool and always have some lanes on when I go in the week.
Weekends can be patchy as pool is often shut for competitions.
