Christmas hamper for a runner

My DB is into running. Think pounding out 14m after work. I have no idea what to get him for Christmas so thought about running bits.

Any ideas?

Funcky laces
Socks
Nipple cream?
Nutition book
Top

Id prefer useful smaller items rather than items like a top.

Carb gels, slipper for after a race, hat, high viz armband

padded soled running socks, hand held water bottle, recovery drink, hi-viz beanie,
lots of cheap gear here

Second hi-viz stuff or little lights if he runs in the dark. Favourite high energy snack? Small pouch for keys, phone etc?

If he has all of these, how about a subscription to a running magazine? Or (auto)biography of famous runner?

Or entry into a race/event, but you'd need his running details for that (assuming he has a number)

Id be surprised if he didn't have most of the equipment he needed such as hi viz things, armbands etc. Things that need replacing after a while like socks are good, or the food/snack idea is a good one. A running CD like Now Running or whatever?

I know you said you'd like useful smaller items, but what about a voucher for a nearby running shop (like He Runs She Runs or Up & Running) to go towards some new running shoes (they're not cheap)
