I've wanted one for ages and was in Ann summers and the girl said if I don't have space can just bring it back!

So now I have it, I need tips on where to find moves etc as did a clad once and managed to get upside down but can't remember now!!

Anyone else got one??

What one did you get?? Did you get like an x pole which is the best one or did you get cheapie one...the cheap ones are for titillation really and wont hold body weight so make sure you have a proper one before you start exercising on it.

I have been poling for 3 years and love it.....

You would be better off finding a class just to start with so you get some basic knowledge before you go it alone.

Otherwise have a look on ebay for a basic pole instruction dvd..make sure you get a proper one though, I ordered one once and it was a woman with her boobs out!!

Thanks for replying Smile

I got a hot pink dance pole from Ann summers! It says you can go upside down etc, but I put it up and tried to swing on it etc and it fell down Blush

I'm not sure if I didn't put it up right or if maybe this is one of the cheapie ones?

I am going to sign upto local classes, they start in a couple of weeks Smile

Vertical dance is great, and they do good dvd's as well

How much was your pole?? TNH just from the name I would say it is not going to be good enough..........how did you put it up? I have the x pole which is tension mounted against the ceiling joists and it is very sturdy.

Yes do sign up for the classes...poling is much more fun when you have people to pole with and once you are confident you can learn new moves at home.
